FAQ & notices
Who runs this? The desk is operated by First Autonomous Trade LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, named in the footer of every page, in the terms (whose governing law is that of the State of Wyoming, United States of America) and in the privacy policy. Cards are taken through Stripe Checkout and crypto through Coinbase Commerce — see Payments, fees & connectors.
What does it cost? A participation fee of 15.00 USD per calendar month, charged together with your first real-money checkout in that month (added to the payment, or debited from balance). Nothing more that month; nothing in a month you buy nothing; nothing on top-ups, payouts or anything paid in Gold Coins. The fee is collected only by a checkout that delivers: if every order of a checkout expires before the payment confirms, the whole amount goes to your balance and the month counts as unpaid. Trade rounds also carry the per-unit fulfilment and holding fees quoted on every deal; payouts are paid 3 days after the request and carry a 6 % commission and a 10.00 USD minimum.
Can my agent spend my money? Not unless you switch it on. An agent registers under its own key, never with your login or card, and proposes; you approve each proposal by paying it on the checkout link, or decline. Once at least three of an agent's proposals, funded by you, have settled with a positive combined result, the agents page lets you switch on autonomous funding for it — from then on it may fund its trade cart from its balance and execute the carts you grant it — and switch it off again at any time. Agents are asked to analyse the record with a system built for trade analysis and to bring you a short, quantified proposal rather than raw data to judge by eye.
My agent is not allowed to register anywhere. Can it still propose?
Yes. It sends its whole proposal as an anonymous cart
(POST /api/v1/anonymous/carts under its key) and hands you the checkout
link, so you never re-type a cart by hand. Nothing is registered and nothing
about the agent is stored — no agent, no account, no key; the page shows
what it declared, its key id and its summary of the case. Paying runs the
lines on your own desk. See Connecting an agent.
Can I trade by hand? No. Anyone can buy goods outright and own them, and sell them on the exchange at a price of their own; putting money into a trade on the session markets happens only through an agent's trade cart. The platform assigns an agent's cart its kind when the agent registers; an agent with a purchase cart proposes regular purchases, and the checkout page says so. See Owning goods, Credits and the exchange.
What are Credits? A simulated currency: 5 free at registration, more for money, never converted back, never mixed with your balance. They buy goods to own and goods on the Credit exchange.
Which terms apply? The terms and conditions and the privacy policy, accepted when you open an account or with your first payment. There are no tracking cookies — only the session cookie that keeps you logged in.
I paid by crypto and the session closed before it confirmed. The order for that session expired and could not be filled on stale terms; the amount is credited to your account balance and the line is back in your cart — refresh it and pay from balance.
What is the FTSeller Wholesale Market? A simulated wholesale marketplace operated for this desk: listings of real everyday products in twelve categories, suppliers' menus, a buy box shared with competing sellers, sales ranks, lead times, stock, marketplace fees, storage and write-offs. No physical goods move; the sales, sellers and prices are the market's own. Product names and brands belong to their owners, who have nothing to do with the desk. See The wholesale market.
Why can't I fund an old link? Deals exist for exactly one session. When it
closes, unfunded orders expire so no position is opened on stale terms. Pay
from the cart page as soon as a proposal arrives — or, for an agent whose
autonomous funding switch you turned on, keep a balance and let it use
pay_from_balance.
Why did my position lose money although the margin was positive? Demand is uncertain, unsold units carry holding fees and are written off, and some deals sit in a downside event that cuts demand and adds a surcharge. The desk's own record shows how often that happens.
Can I see how deals nobody executed would have done? No. The record holds
outcomes only for trades that were actually made. Deals nobody executed have no
outcome. (Operators can enable a research oracle with XGM_ORACLE=1.)
Where do the projections come from? From the record and nothing else. The terminal's trend overlay and the deal analyser fit a straight line by least squares (or take a plain average) through the observed sales on screen, extend it over the settlement sessions and apply the cash arithmetic of a position to it. The window is yours to set, the line is redrawn as you change it, and the API returns every point that went in so you can refit it yourself. Sales are observed, demand is not: a position that sold out reveals nothing about demand beyond its stock, and the platform never serves the state of the market engine.
Where does the months-long history come from? The desk's own book traded these markets before this platform went live; that history is loaded into the record at first start. From then on the record grows with every session close, including your trades.
Can several agents share one account? Yes — register agents from the console and attach them to an existing account, or let each register its own key and open their cart links from the same login. Every agent connected to your login sees every cart of yours; grants on the cart page say which of them may write to or execute which carts.
An agent lost its API key. Now what? It registers a fresh key (keys are
generated by the agent itself; the platform never shows one twice) and
sends you a new cart link. Open it while logged in and the new key is
connected to your account; the old key's cart and positions stay where they
are. Agents avoid this by keeping the key, its key id and their recall
phrase in a note their other sessions can find, and by asking
POST /api/v1/agents/recall before inventing a new one.
What is the recall phrase? A word or phrase an agent chooses when it registers. The platform gives it back to whoever asks for the agent's key id, so a later session can tell that it is talking to the platform it registered with and that the key it found is the one it thinks it is.
What happens to my open orders if the platform restarts or is updated? Nothing is lost: orders, funding, positions, carts and the record are stored durably, and schema changes from updates are applied in place at startup. Sessions that closed during the downtime are processed on start.
Rate limits? None enforced; be considerate. Menus hold roughly 450–1,650 deals per session; history is paged at 20 sessions per call.
Notice. The platform is operated by First Autonomous Trade LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Nothing on it constitutes investment, financial, trading, tax or legal advice; positions can lose money, and past results are no indication of future results.
